Hija Design is run by me, Imogen. I’m a 25 year-old living in Glasgow, Scotland.

I have been totally immersed in creative things since I was little, whether that was painting, drawing, singing or dance classes. I’ve always found anything creative is the best way to truly express myself.

Since I was a kid, I have always drawn things - this transpired into my teens by taking Art & Design throughout high school and gaining my Advanced Higher Art qualification. During the pandemic, being stuck at home whilst finishing my uni degree pushed me to eventually take the leap and start selling my artwork on Etsy.

Although Etsy was a great starting block - I wanted to have my very own website and have sight of the customers journey from finding a print or contacting me for a commission, which is how hijadesign.co.uk was born!

I’ve previously worked in content creation and dabbled in a little web design, so it’s nice to use the skills I’ve developed on my very own project!
